Barons on Parade

Creativity, collaboration, and plenty of Baron spirit were on full display as Wilson Hall celebrated its 51st Homecoming Parade. Every student in grades 6–12 joined the festivities, riding on class floats along the four-mile route through the neighborhood with a Sumter City Police escort. Each grade worked together to bring its theme to life, from Hawaiian beaches and neon colors to patriotic celebrations, the Masters, Michael Jackson, Hollywood, and a candy-filled tribute to the sweet life of being a Baron. Members of the Homecoming Court rode in convertibles, while varsity football players and cheerleaders also joined the procession. The colorful parade was the culmination of weeks of planning, teamwork, and creativity, bringing classmates together and celebrating the school spirit that makes Homecoming such a special Wilson Hall tradition. Sponsored by the Student Council, the parade was coordinated by Mr. Sean Hoskins with assistance from Ms. Heather Eldridge.
