Kindergarten students welcomed their families and special guests for Donuts with Grown-Ups, a morning celebrating the important connection between home and school. The gathering began in Founders Chapel with a prayer and a musical performance directed by Mrs. Julia Sims-Owens. Guests then enjoyed donuts and fresh fruit outside the Nash Student Center before visiting classrooms, where students proudly shared their family portraits and writings about donuts. The morning offered families a glimpse into their children’s school day while giving students the special opportunity to share their accomplishments with those who mean the most to them. Kindergarten teachers Mrs. Hope Alexander, Mrs. Ashley Bateman, and Mrs. Amy Jones coordinated the event.
