The Nash Student Center was loud, raucous, and packed with Baron spirit during the Hungry, Hungry Hippos Pep Rally. Organized by the varsity cheerleaders, led by Captain Anne McCrea Williams and Co-Captains Peyton Naylor and Livie Pedersen, with Mrs. Frances James serving as cheerleader advisor, the rally brought the classic game to life as students were pulled across the floor on blankets and scrambled to collect as many balls as possible. The rally wrapped up with Savannah Wells speaking for the fans, Peyton Gilley for the team, and Assistant Coach Mr. Chuck McCord before students gathered to sing the Alma Mater and fight song. It was a spirited send-off filled with fun, competition, and plenty of Baron pride.
