Baron spirit filled the gym as students cheered, laughed, and competed in the Scavenger Hunt Pep Rally sponsored by the varsity cheerleaders. From finding a blue shoe to gathering classmates for a line dance or a chorus of dog barks, the challenges kept the crowd energized, with the seniors coming out on top. Cheer captain Anne McCrea Williams, co-captains Peyton Naylor and Livie Pedersen, and advisor Mrs. Frances James helped lead the rally, while Mary Katherine Dutcher delivered a rousing speech encouraging fans to come out and support the Barons. Edmunds DuBose spoke on behalf of the team, and Mr. Steve Hudson also addressed the crowd. The rally ended with everyone joining together for the Alma Mater and school fight song, closing out an afternoon full of Baron pride.
