Fun, family, and fellowship filled the evening as more than 600 members of the Wilson Hall community gathered for the Baron Family Tailgate Party, officially kicking off the school’s yearlong 60th anniversary celebration. With a festive 1960s theme, the event featured bright flowers and colors, balloons, music from the decade, and a meal catered by Southern Way Catering. Varsity cheerleaders offered face painting, while Baron Ambassadors welcomed guests and helped at tables featuring 1966 novelty glasses, mini footballs, pom poms, a special welcome for new families, and a display of Wilson Hall history provided by the school archive. Organized by Mrs. Martha Jo Johnson and Mrs. Caroline Zitzke of the Development Office, with assistance from the Baron Ambassadors, the celebration brought generations of Barons together for an evening that reflected the strong sense of community that has defined Wilson Hall for 60 years.
