Wilson Hall began its fifth year of professional development in the science of learning, and this year, 100% of our teachers will be trained by The Center for Transformative Teaching & Learning (CTTL) to ensure our faculty have every resource at their disposal to effectively “know, love, challenge, and protect” our students, which includes a high-level understanding of how learning actually happens in the brain. We are one of a handful of independent schools in the country who can make this claim and the only one in S.C. The school leads our region in expert teaching and learning. Thank you to Glenn Whitman, Director of the CTTL, for his third visit to Wilson Hall, and to Alyssa Morris of the CTTL for her first. More ahead in the years to come!
