Jane Foley, Mary Foley, and Kira Stelle were recognized for their accomplishments at the Sumter County 4-H Youth Development Program’s annual Achievement Banquet. The event celebrated youth achievement, leadership, service and hands-on learning. Mary received the prestigious Silver Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership, sustained service, initiative and exceptional contributions to the Sumter County 4-H program. Jane earned a medal for her accomplishments in Environmental Science: Soil and Water, while Kira received a medal for her leading the 4-H Cooking Like a Chef Camp.
Through programs emphasizing science, agriculture, healthy living and civic engagement, 4-H encourages young people to develop practical skills, confidence and leadership. Wilson Hall’s 4-H Chapter is advised by Dr. Cindy Foley and Mr. Chris Stelle.
