A scenic trail, brilliant fall colors, and a chance to connect with nature and faith made for a memorable Saturday morning outing as members of the Sacred Steps Club hiked four miles through Poinsett State Park. Surrounded by the beauty of autumn, students paused for a devotional led by Mr. Lee Gandy, advisor, who shared a message from Psalm 46:10 about the importance of being still and trusting in God, even during life’s challenges. The outing offered students an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, strengthen friendships, and reflect on their faith while appreciating the beauty of God’s creation.
