First Priority Speaker Shares Faith Through Golf

From childhood golf tournaments to collegiate competition, Mrs. Maddie Dinkins shared how her journey on the golf course has strengthened her faith during a recent First Priority meeting. An assistant coach for the girls golf team, Mrs. Dinkins spoke about finding peace through Christ amid the anxiety and pressure of competition. She explained how her life verse, Romans 12:1–3, has opened doors for meaningful conversations about faith, allowing her to witness to others, including fellow competitors and even strangers. Her message encouraged students to recognize opportunities to share their faith in everyday situations. First Priority, a Christian club for middle school students, meets before school on alternating Tuesdays under the guidance of advisor Ms. Heather Eldridge.
