Assembly Creates Kindness

Filling the gym with laughter, lots of smiles, and uplifting energy, the Acts of Kindness Club wrapped up Random Acts of Kindness Week with a high-energy assembly for students in grades 6–12 that celebrated kindness in action and strengthened camaraderie across campus.

During a spirited relay, students asked a teacher to dance to YMCA, shook hands with a seventh grader, thanked and hugged a teacher, complimented someone wearing blue, and gave a high five. The AOK Awards recognized students nominated by faculty for consistently showing kindness, and club members selected faculty for special recognition.

The assembly ended with students gathered in a circle to pray and sing the Alma Mater, a meaningful reminder that kindness unites the entire school community. Addie Griffin & Paige Sanders serve as the club’s co-presidents.
