At the first High School Chapel of the year, Mr. Lee Gandy, Chapel Coordinator, challenged students to help strengthen the culture of Wilson Hall by living out the school’s vision that every student shall be known, loved, challenged, and safe. Using Scripture, he connected being known with valuing others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3-4), loved with showing compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (Colossians 3:12-14), challenged with spurring one another toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24), and safe with using words that build others up (Ephesians 4:29). He encouraged students to make these principles part of their daily lives and, ultimately, to leave Wilson Hall a better place.
