Environmental Science students took a creative approach to learning by turning Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax into a full mock trial. After watching the original film, students stepped into courtroom roles for the fictional case of the Lorax v. the Once-ler, presented their arguments, and then served as the jury. Their verdict: the Once-ler was guilty of destroying the environment. Taught by Mrs. Jessica Duke, the activity challenged students to think critically, collaborate, and explore environmental issues in an engaging and memorable way.
