Bringing physics beyond the textbook, AP Physics students welcomed Col. (Ret.) Brian Jackson as a guest speaker for a lesson on Newton’s Laws and how they apply to real-world situations. Through practical examples and discussion, students connected the principles they study in class to the forces and motion they encounter in everyday life. Experiences like this reflect Wilson Hall’s emphasis on hands-on STEAM learning, giving students opportunities to explore scientific concepts through application, problem-solving, and meaningful connections to the world around them.
