Combining scientific discovery, teamwork, and data analysis, AP Biology students in Mrs. Ashley Morris’ class brought biological concepts to life through a hands-on investigation of cohesion and surface tension. Working together, students compared water with isopropyl alcohol, collected and analyzed their own data, and then calculated standard deviation and standard error of the mean before graphing their results.
