The Fellowship of Christian Athletes welcomed Mrs. Catherine Kelley Schwartz ‘16 back to campus for a lunch meeting with students.
After sharing reflections from her time as a WH student, she read the Gospel of Mark’s account of the woman who, in faith, touched Jesus’s cloak and was healed. Catherine reminded students that even in the midst of the crowd, Jesus saw the suffering woman, honored her faith, and restored her. She encouraged students to remember that Christ sees each of them fully, especially when they feel overlooked, insignificant, or unworthy of His touch.
The club, advised by Mrs. Molly Simpson Matthews ‘93, is open to all high school students and meets every other Wednesday.
